Itinerary
Day 1: Sunday November 2, 2008 - 10 km
7:30 am Bus depart the Sheraton Towers Hotel Parking Lot (115 Hayarkon Street • Tel Aviv)
Drive North
10:30 am -11:15 am Opening Ceremony and ceremonial filling of jars at the Mediterranean Sea at the Achziv Beach (next to the bridge)
11:15 am Short Bus Transfer to the Start of the Hike at the Sulam Ridge next to the Rainbow Cave. Packed Lunches carried by the participants
11:30 am – 4:30 pm Continue from the Rainbow Cave via the Betzet Stream through the Sarach riverbed to the Danilla Forest
Snack will include two bite brownies and cookies and freshly brewed herbal tea
Drive to Hotel, Receive Keys and Check In
7:30 pm Meet at the Saba Haviv Factory for a short tour and Poike “pots” Dinner along with One family guests the Olive Oil Factory
Music provided by a Victim of Terror and his family from Safed, Klezemere style
Overnight: Lovely Farod Kibbutz Guest House accommodations in Central Galilee.
Day 2: November 3, 2008 - 16 km
7:00 am Breakfast
8:00 am Depart Farod
8:45 am – Tree Planting in Moshav Gore
9:45 am Start Hiking
Group Alef (Michael Bauer)–Nachal Kziv from Avadon to the Abirim Crusader Fortress
Group Bet (Ofir)– From Park Goren to the Abirim Crusader Fortress
Packed Lunch (Picnic style) carried by the participants from the beginning of the day
5:00 pm Fresh Pomegranate Juice and Homemade Pita bread at the end of the day
6:00 pm Depart for Pekiin
6:30 pm Visit Safta Jamilla's Soap Factory
7:30 pm Druze Evening and Hafla in Pekiin (Druze Hospitality, Dinner, Cultural/musical)

Day 3: Tuesday November 4, 2008 - 16 km
7:00 am Breakfast
Hike from the Elkush River Bed via Nachal Kziv.
1:00 pm Lunch at Hirbet Humema (Shakshuka Lunch)
Continue following the Kziv River bed and connect with the Neria River, climb Mount Meron and follow the "Cross Israel trail" to Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai's grave.
4:30 pm Both groups finish together at the Mt. Meron Circular Route
Fresh brewed herbal tea and bread upon finishing this day
Return to the Kibbutz Guest House
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm- One Family Market Place, including Judaic, jewellery, crafts, wine and gourmet items from local vendors outside of the Reception Area
8:30 pm "Outdoor" Dinner at Farod (Dress Warmly)

Day 4: Wednesday November 5, 2008 - 12 km
7:00 am Breakfast
From Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai's grave, we will descend to the Meron River, cross the Amud River canyon nature reserve.
Packed Lunch Carried Individually and eaten as group
Continue Hiking and Finish on the Akko Tzfat Road
Return to Farod to Change
8:00 pm Outing to Rosh Pina
10:30 pm Return Bus from Rosh Pina
Overnight: Lovely Farod Kibbutz Guest House accommodations in Central Galilee
Day 5: Thursday November 6, 2008 - 11 km
7:00 am Breakfast
Check out of hotel and pack buses
Pick up two bite brownies, cookies, and treats and pac k snacks before departure
From the Akko Tzfat Road we will descend to the Lower Amud Stream bed and finish our trek at the Beach on the Kinneret, where we will hold a beautiful closing celebration and the Sea to Sea water transfer ceremony
4 Rooms to change clothes (1 for men & 3 for woman) –
2:00 pm Closing "Water Ceremony "
2:30 pm Barbeque Banquet Lunch and Folk Dancin g with famous Israeli singer, Si Heiman
Approximately 4:00 pm End of Program and Depart to the Sheraton Towers Hotel Tel Aviv Parking Lot
